FAENZA, ITALY (April 30, 2014) ARTECO GLOBAL, the leader in Video Event Management Software (VEMS) for the Security Industry is proud to announce the opening of the newest commercial sales and support branch in South Africa. Based in Pretoria, ARTECO SA will handle all sales and level 1-3 support for the entire African continent.
“South Africa is one of the most important Security Markets in the world where Perimeter Security plays a key role in the profiles of many different customer segments,” said Steve Birkmeier, Vice President of Sales and Business Development for ARTECO GLOBAL, “our growth in the last 18 months in this market really proved to us that we need to be a local presence to better serve our expanding customer base.”
ARTECO SA will be managed nationally by Mr. Dean Sichelschmidt and will be staffed by ARTECO Systems Engineers for local support as well as admin support. The company will be hosting an invite-only event to kick-off the official opening of the branch on May 14th to coincide with IFSEC South Africa in Midrand, Johannesburg.
