Food defence is one of the most interesting market to see how Arteco technology works. The case of the system installed in the Italian production plants of Granarolo is an emblem of the way the long-standing partnership with Bosch and Gruppo Sirio led to an offer that is efficiently protecting the company’s production of milk and dairy products.

Granarolo S.p.A. is one of the biggest Italian food companies. Founded in 1957, it is now based in Bologna (Italy) and has a commercial presence in 75 countries, more than 3,000 employees, 14 production sites in Italy and 7 abroad.

Since 2017, Arteco has supplied through Gruppo Sirio its software platform for the management of video surveillance in 5 plants in Italy monitored by more than 200 cameras. With this specific application, that provides for 24/7 supervision and the management of plant infrastructure, Arteco strengthened its collaboration with Bosch, that supplies the cameras that have been installed.

The wide extension of the plants was the only major complication, as emerged in the updating process of the video surveillance system recently carried out in the plant of Soliera (Modena, Italy). There, the enduring collaboration of Gruppo Sirio, Bosch and Arteco resulted in a smooth transition from the analogical to the digital system, that now includes 48 cameras featuring video analysis on board to monitor a 45,000 sqm area.
